Character Cavalcade

When it's raining outside, characters come in for a "spell."
"One of the best times to visit Disneyland is on a rainy Tuesday in February." is what I've always told folks who wished to 'ride everything' with minimal queues or enjoy a crowd free day at the park. For those wishing to sit and 'people watch' I recommend the two weeks which include Christmas and New Year's Day or Independence Day (July 4th), especially if it falls on a weekend, the crowds will be tremendous. What I didn't realize is the same is true for enjoying walk-around characters. Disney paid these actors to show up, and paid makeup crew to apply the transformation of face characters, then costumed them all and set them free in the park. When it's raining out, they're still here but inside, while guests shield themselves with an umbrella or purchased poncho and walk quickly to board 'inside' attractions, they are briskly walking past the unseen concentrated refuge of photo and autograph opportunities. So you may enjoy this ardent activity in 3D I am pleased to present "Character Cavalcade."
