it's a great view of The Happiest Cruise that Ever Sailed!
New Disney characters have been added; Alice in Wonderland and the White Rabbit, with Peter Pan and Tinkerbell to England, Cinderella and mice to France, Pinocchio and Gepetto to Italy, Aladdin & Jasmine to the Middle East, Timon and Pumba to Africa, Mulan and Mushu to Asia, The Three Caballeros to South America, Ariel, Sebastian and Flounder with Nemo, Dory and Crush to Under the Sea, Lilo and Stitch to the South Pacific - even Jessie and Woody on Bullseye to an entirely new portion, North America.
There was essentially no it's a small world in 2008.
There were, however, TWO versions of it's a small world holiday.
When the 2007 holiday overlay edition closed in January 2008, ten months of major refurbishment prepared her for November re-opening of the 2008 holiday edition, masking her new secrets of glorious suprises for 2009.

Paradise Pier, the choice of music was featured in the film "Rain Man", Christmas Eve 2008.
"Disney California Adventure" sea gull bird flight over drained Paradise Bay and view of California Screamin' and Toy Story Midway Mania on Paradise Pier from a section of DCA which is soon to become Yesterland, to be re-themed into "Disney Wonderful World Of Color" water show viewing area. Hans Zimmer "Leaving Wallbrook/On The Road" theme soundtrack of "Rain Man" plays in the area music.

Mickey and Minnie and face time. All the characters gathered inside because it had been raining outside. I had so much fun I had completely forgotten that I was at Disneyland for the Grand Re-opening of the completely refurbished "it's a small world". February 6, 2008.
