Due to the safety hazards of a diamond shaped stone rising half an inch and having a lawsuit from the person wearing sandals, or one from a child on Pa's shoulders hitting one's head on a descending block, all of the articulation in this hall has been halted by wedging blocks in place, even the one with the rubber 2x4 across it (hint, hint)

No, step on the Diamond Shaped Stones beneath the block with the rubber 2x4 across it. This is the only descending block set up with pneumatic articulation in the ceiling above and hydraulics below in the stone that would allow it to drop when the diamond beneath it is depressed, then the diamond would rise (about a quarter inch) and the stone above would collapse (about three inches of drop.)
Because the Insurance Examiners decided that a guy could be walking through the room with a child on his head or possibly someone with sandals stub their toe on the stone, this effect is and forever will be Not In Service. The stone is permanently depressed and filled in with "Disney Mud" or color matched concrete. You would have stepped on that stone.
At least the crumbling ceiling still works, when it wants to, and not when it decides to freeze, quite literally, in the ceiling. But for the same reason, insurance, it will never again snow in the room past the gates of doom and before the stairs that bounce the car down into the main show room--someone might get a sliver of ice in their eye.3-3-98
